After much thought and heartache over my lost work, I have decided
To create a new art journal and post everything as I do it so that
No matter what I will at least have a digital record
Of my works. I have a lot of catching up to do! But I am not
Giving up. Art makes me happy and I don't intend to quit

Well, someone has stolen my art journal, and though I offer my phone number and a cash reward, no one has called to return it. My heart is broken...I had so much more art in it that I had planned to post on here, but it is gone...forever...I don't know if I have the heart to start a new one...What should I do? Has this ever happened to you? : (
Since I have been doing art journaling almost everyday, and it refleccts my life, as well as my AS, I thought I would take a slight detour and begin afresh with the first prompt, only instead of choosing one word/lesson I've learned, I will be doing my art journaling/photography (one page a day) to at least create something...I found some of the prompts made me feel a little too much like I could not follow them because of my perfectionism, and trying to make my art fit the assignment as much as possible...believe me, I would spend hours trying to figure out what to do. Art journaling comes naturally to me, and so, though many prompts will be reflected in my art journal, some may not be. I hope you still like the page and enjoy my art! (I've been art journaling like crazy---just need to get my scanner up and running again)! Thanks for your patience. :0)
I'm so sorry I've been sidetracked with other art projects, but I promise I will continue to post art ASAP. Of course it is 1 o'clock in the morning where I am now, but tomorrow I will begin posting again. For a while I'd just been art journaling, but the back of my mind was thinking about the 365 project---I know it won't be 365 straight days of art journaling, but I will be getting back on track now! I recently bought NOAH SCALIN's book 365 A DAILY CREATIVITY JOURNAL. I have decided to follow the prompts in this book and create a piece of art everyday. Using art, I will try to document life lessons (in the form of words/pictures) that I've learned in my almost 26 years---lessons learned the hard way, lessons others taught me, and lessons I would like to share with my future children one day. I will try to post a photo or documentation of each piece I create everyday (I am not perfect though)! So, please forgive me if I miss a post...it will be there eventually...all 365. Note: I have only JUST begun this project as of May 8, 2011 (My Dad's birthday). If you have any ideas or tips on this project, please let me know! Thanks!

A BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is to document life lessons I’ve learned (the hard way, through others, and ones I’d like to share with my future children one day) as a person with Asperger’s Syndrome.
The ANSWERS to the following questions
I decided to do this project as I believe that my life is an important journey that I should document! Isn’t everybody’s? However, as a person with Asperger’s Syndrome, my take on things can be a lot different from the perspectives of others...but they are what they are and by doing this project, perhaps I will open doors for others who are on the Autism Spectrum as well...I may not communicate like everyone else, but it doesn’t mean I don’t have anything to say...I have PLENTY to say, but the best way for me to say it is through my art (something I’ve enjoyed doing all my life). Through photographs and art, I am able to communicate more than even some people without AS.
I am only four days into this project, and am having some difficulty keeping up, but it is amazing how much less anxiety I feel, especially while doing the art. I hope that it will let my family and others see my life and the lessons I’ve learned through the eyes of someone with Asperger’s Syndrome...my eyes...and perhaps even change preconceived notions about people on the Autism Spectrum.
